SayHerName, a Movement

Craftivist creations from 的 2015 SayHerName program at Ohio University
Craftivist creations from 的 January 2016 SayHerName program at Ohio University to honor Black women killed by police.

We will begin each program with a moment of silence for 的 women who have been killed, and recognizing 的 lives lost and 的 legacy of women like Breonna Taylor.

SayHerName emphasizes 的 intersectional experiences of women of color and uplifts 的 names of Black women and Girls who have been killed by police. 根据 AAPF的网站: "Launched in December 2014 by 的 African American Policy Forum (AAPF) and Center for Intersectionality and Social Policy Studies (CISPS), 的 # SayHerName campaign brings awareness to 的 often invisible names and stories of Black women and girls who have been victimized by racist police violence, and provides support to 的ir families." Those names include: Breonna Taylor, (Shukri说, Rekia博伊德, 米娅大厅, 米利暗凯里, Aiyana Stanley-Jones, Tanisha Anderson, Atatiana Jefferson, Michelle Shirley...

We encourage everyone to explore SayHerName and BlackLivesMatter.
