Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG)

Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG) is a state-funded grant program offered to residents of the state of Ohio only. You must complete the FAFSA by October 1 of each academic year in order to be eligible. OCOG is based on total family income 和 Student Aid Index (SAI) from the FAFSA. 

Second Chance Grant Program

Second Chance Grant Program is offered through the Ohio Department of Education to Ohio residents who have earned some college credit, but no degree.

的 objectives of the Second Chance Grant Program are to reduce 金融 barriers preventing Ohioans with some college credit, but no bachelor's degree from returning to higher education and to increase the number of Ohioans with a degree or credential. 的 Second Chance Program will provide 金融 assistance in the form of $3,000 grants to eligible students re-enrolling at a qualifying institution in order to obtain a degree or credential.  

Great Minds Fellowship

Great Minds Fellowship program is available to Ohio residents who are within two years of a degree or certificate in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, psychiatric/mental health nursing, and substance abuse/addiction counseling. In this program, 的 Ohio Department of Higher Education in partnership with Ohio University provides up to $10,000 in scholarship funds to eligible students who intend to join the behavioral healthcare workforce. Program participants must complete an internship with a participating Ohio Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) and commit to at least one year of employment at a participating CBHC upon graduation.

Ohio Work Ready Grant

Ohio Work Ready Grant provides funding to Ohio residents who demonstrate the highest levels of 金融 need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Eligible students must be enrolled in a qualified program at an Ohio community, state community, or technical college, an Ohio Technical Center, or a state university (branch) campus.

Grow Your Own Teacher Scholarship Program

Grow Your Own Teacher Scholarship Program is designed to help school districts across Ohio recruit their own students and staff to become teachers within the district. Recipients of the Grow Your Own Scholarship agree to teach for a minimum of four years at their home school district in exchange for a scholarship of up to $7,500/year for four years.

Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency Grant (PHEAA)

Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency Grant (PHEAA) is a state-funded grant program offered to residents of the state of Pennsylvania only.  You must complete the FAFSA Pennsylvania State Grant form (first time applicants only).  Students must be enrolled in a program of study w在这里 at least 50% of the total credit hours are earned through classroom instruction.
